CCH Greenbushes is a state-of-the-art multi-temperature distribution facility commissioned in 2024, located in close proximity to the Coega and Gqeberha ports in the Eastern Cape. Purpose-built to be multi-functional, this cold store can alternate between temperatures, supporting local and imported frozen goods as well as chilled fruit and perishables. Advanced cooling tunnels and technology provide temperature treatments in line with phytosanitary requirements of all international export markets. The facility supports increased export of South Africa’s citrus and other fruits while enhancing the efficiency of the import supply chain for frozen meat. CCH Greenbushes generated approximately 100 new local jobs and includes rooftop solar panels as part of AIIM’s commitment to ESG principles.
